Lip filler injections offer the benefit of enhancing lip volume, improving symmetry, and restoring youthful fullness, providing individuals with a natural and customizable way to achieve fuller, more defined lips.


  • It is made of hyaluronic acid.

  • Yes, using Hylenex

  • Typically will last 6-12 months.

  • Lip filler can be uncomfortable but topical numbing is applied.


    • Apply a clean, wrapped ice pack (not directly on the skin) up to 15 minutes every hour for the first several hours if needed the first day. Make sure to press lightly

    • Take Tylenol if needed. Avoid NSAIDs as they can increase bruising and bleeding.

    • Call your injector immediately if your lips are becoming more painful or the area around the mouth is becoming pale or bluish.

    • Avoid kissing for first 24-48 hours

    • Don’t use old chapstick or lipstick for the first 24-48 hours

    • Avoid using a straw or any other activities for first 7 days after treatment

    • Don’t open mouth wide while healing for the first few days
