Apply sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) to protect your skin.

Take Acetaminophen (Tylenol) if you experience and mild tenderness or discomfort.

Yes. Drinking out of a straw may feel slightly different at first when the lip flip kicks in but generally not an issue. Most people do not notice a difference.
Your injector will assess you at your appointment and may or may not recommend neurotoxin for this.
No. If you feel like you have a gummy smile neurotoxin can help but it is injected into a different muscle than a lip flip. You can talk to your injector if you have specific concerns about this.
No. A lip flip is done with neurotoxin while lip filler is done with a hyaluronic acid filler. A lip flip is generally more subtle and a very quick procedure whereas lip filler is a longer procedure.
Neurotoxin is injected with a very small needle, however it can be slightly uncomfortable for a few seconds. Your injector can give you some ice or numbing cream for a few minutes prior to the procedure if needed.
